Is it getting harder for you to live in harmony with your Catholic identity? Would you like to deepen your knowledge of the faith? Do you feel that the Church is your home, but you cannot always answer the question “why”?
We invite you to the meetings of the Advent Spark, organized under the patronage of the Dominican Liturgical Center and the Beczka Dominican University Chaplaincy.
We are a small group of lay people who have often asked ourselves similar questions, so this Advent we would like to refresh – and perhaps discover – the beauty of the Catholic faith together with you.
Over four meetings we will look at what the Church teaches on the basis of Holy Scripture and consider how it should affect our lives. We will get an overview of the roots of our faith and of its fruits – all in order to taste this faith anew, to dig down to its essence and to discover the joy of professing it.
The retreat is intended for students and young adults from Kraków. The meetings will be led by us (lay catechists) in small groups and will be formative and retreat-like in character. Due to the current epidemiological situation, the meetings will take place online.
As all places have been taken, registration for Advent 2020 is closed, but we encourage you to leave your address below so that we can let you know about the next edition, probably during Lent.
